Joyful Life Design

“We have two lives. The second begins when we realize we only have one.”
— Confucius

What would your life look like if every part of it felt alive? Are you living the life you actually want — or the life you think you should want?

Joyful Life Design is a full-day workshop where you’ll use the Life Circles to map your whole life, discover where you’re thriving and where you’re quietly hungry for more, and leave with a vision and a next step that’s genuinely yours.

No lectures. No self-help platitudes. Just honest reflection, genuine connection, and community singing woven throughout the day.

The Life Circles

The Life Circles map your life across ten dimensions. You fill in each one to reflect where you are today and where you want to go — not as a report card, but as a compass. Most people are thriving in two or three areas and quietly starving in others. That moment of recognition is itself powerful.

🌿 Health

Diet, movement, sleep, energy. The foundation everything else rests on. If you don’t have your health, it’s hard to enjoy the rest.

🎉 Play · Laugh · Joy

Adventures, singing, dancing, spontaneity. Follow the aliveness wherever it leads. Don’t wait to feel ready.

🤝 Connections

Your close circle (fewer than 5), relational circle (15–50), collective (150–500). Deep friendship is one of the strongest predictors of a joyful life.

💡 Identity

Who are you as a person? What qualities do you value? Authenticity, curiosity, gratitude. How will people remember you?

🧠 Mind

Lifelong learning, new experiences, meditation, digital minimalism. Challenge yourself. Embrace mistakes.

💰 Finance

Mindful spending, reducing debt, investing in experiences over things. Your relationship with money shapes your freedom.

💼 Work

Pay, flexibility, meaning, time off. Is your work aligned with your values and your energy?

🌍 World

Volunteering, community, mentoring, sustainability. Focus on what you can change. Let go of what you can’t.

⏳ Time · Energy

Time is life. Work-life balance, energy management, proactivity. What are you spending your irreplaceable time on?

📸 Memories

What brought you the most joy last week, last month, last year? Your best memories reveal what actually matters.

Questions We’ll Explore

These are the questions that tend to unlock something real. We work through them in honest conversation, small groups, and quiet reflection.

  • What would your life look like if every part of it felt alive?
  • Are you living the life you actually want, or the life you think you should want?
  • If you weren’t afraid to fail or be rejected, what would you do?
  • What brought you the most joy last week / month / year?
  • If you had 6 months left, what would you do?
  • What do you want more of in your life? What do you want less of?
  • Who are the people you value most? Who would you like more time with?
  • You’re always practicing something — so what do you want to be practicing?

What You’ll Leave With

  • A clear visual map of your life as it is today
  • A vision of where you want to grow — in your own words, on your own terms
  • One brave next step you actually believe in
  • The experience of being genuinely seen by others on the same journey
  • A small accountability circle to keep going after the day
  • A song in your body that anchors the feeling of this day
